Tom has over 40 years experience in Ambulance Service operations, Management and Sales. His career started as an "ambulance attendant" in 1965 and he subsequently worked for 19 years providing patient care, as a Medic, Helicopter Flight Medic and Water Rescue Diver, Operations Manager, and Director of a County Wide Ambulance Service in Michigan. In 1986, he formed his own Dealership to sell and service ambulances in Michigan and Indiana. He closed his business in 2002 and since that time, Tom has worked for ambulance manufacturers, in a management role, developing and implementing sales programs for dealers and retail sales personnel, working on product development teams, and designing specialty critical care units, such as NICU and PICU transport vehicles. He has a passion for a safer environment inside the ambulance with emphasis on crew protection and injury mitigation. He also became a certified police officer in Michigan and served as a command officer at a Sheriff’s Department in Northern Michigan.
