Demers warranty coverage
Every new Demers ambulance is built with premium materials and meticulous attention to quality, durability, and performance in the field.
To match that standard, the Demers warranty plan is specifically designed for emergency vehicles, offering complete coverage and peace of mind throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle.
Conversion warranty
Covers Demers-manufactured conversion components against defects in materials or workmanship. Includes electrical harnesses but excludes some third-party-installed elements.
OEM components warranty
Covers original equipment manufacturer (OEM) components such as paint, graphics and lettering, sirens, and entertainment systems. Subject to each supplier’s terms.
Body structure warranty
Covers the structural integrity of the modular aluminum care module for the entire lifespan of the product, under intended use. Valid only for the original owner and original chassis.
Paint warranty
Covers the powder-coated finish on the aluminum modular body for the full lifespan of the ambulance, as long as it remains on the original chassis. Includes repairs for certain types of paint defects.
Choosing to have your ambulance remounted by the original manufacturer is the best way to maintain the level of quality and performance your team relies on. With Demers Ambulances, every remount is completed to OEM specifications and covered by a warranty on all completed work. This extends the life of your vehicle while upholding the highest standards for safety, compliance, and reliability, without compromise.
Limited paint warranty – 2 years or 60,000 km*
Applies only if the care module was repainted or repaired by Demers during the remount process. If the original paint remains intact and the ambulance is still with the original owner, the original lifetime paint warranty continues to apply.

Limited modular structure warranty*
If the remount is completed before the original modular body structure warranty expires, the remaining coverage remains in effect. This is subject to the work being completed by Demers employees or a certified Demers service centre, and the ambulance remaining under the same ownership.

Limited warranty – electrical system, materials, and labour – 2 years or 60,000 km*
Electrical components, materials, and labour are warrantied for 2 years or 60,000 km, whichever comes first. This coverage excludes any components installed or replaced during the remount process. Demers will repair any eligible defect in materials, workmanship, or wiring at no cost during this period.

Garantie limitée sur la structure modulaire de la carrosserie
Si le remontage est effectué avant l’expiration de la garantie limitée originale sur la structure de la carrosserie modulaire, le reste de la garantie limitée sur la structure de la carrosserie modulaire restera en vigueur. Ceci à condition que le travail de remontage soit effectué par des employés de Demers Ambulances ou par un établissement approuvé par Demers Ambulances, et que l’ambulance appartienne toujours au propriétaire d’origine.

Garantie limitée sur le système électrique, les matériaux et la main d’œuvre – 2 ans ou 60 000 km*
Garantie de 2 ans ou 60 000 km, selon la première éventualité. Le système électrique et les matériaux sont exempts de défauts de matériaux et de fabrication, à l’exception des pièces installées ou remplacées au cours du processus de remontage. Demers Ambulances réparera tout défaut du système électrique, des matériaux et de la main-d’œuvre sans frais de pièces et de main-d’œuvre pendant cette période.

How to file a warranty claim

Contact Demers Customer Service at 1-800-363-7591 or warranty@demers-ambulances.com Be ready to provide:
- Year of manufacture and chassis model
- Demers ambulance model
- Demers stock number
- VIN
- Delivery date
- In-service date
- Current mileage
- Any other relevant information

Complete the warranty claim form found in your owner’s manual or here, within 30 days of the issue.

Replacement parts under warranty will be shipped promptly from one of our Customer Service Centres. Once received, please return the defective part to Demers within 30 days. If deemed defective after inspection, no charges will apply for parts or shipping.

Complete repairs at an authorized Demers Customer Service Centre.

Get pre-approval from Demers for any warranty work before incurring labour costs.

Submit approved invoices within 90 days for reimbursement.
Important: Warranty coverage is conditional on normal use and regular maintenance as outlined in your owner’s manual. Demers Ambulances is not responsible for chassis warranties.
Warranty exclusions include, but are not limited to:
- Lock adjustments
- Damage caused by accidents or misuse
- General tightening of hardware
- Tire-related issues
- Upholstery wear and tear
- Normal maintenance services
Demers is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Not all repairs are due to defects; external factors can also cause performance issues.
Chassis warranty
To maintain performance throughout your ambulance’s service life, we recommend working directly with your OEM dealer for any chassis-related maintenance or warranty repairs.
