The eFX electric ambulance care module left paramedics with strong reactions, feeling both impressed and full of admiration. This futuristic configuration, designed in close collaboration with paramedics, quickly became a clear choice.<\/p>

Years of research and development allowed Demers to test, certify, and validate numerous innovations aimed at improving the ambulance care environment. Today, the electrification project is on hold while we await a chassis supplier capable of delivering a platform truly suited to ambulance use.<\/p>

Demers\u2019 innovations, however, are destined for deployment in conventional ambulances. A strong symbol of innovation, this ergonomic, mobile\u00a0FX Action\u2122 Seat<\/span>\u00a0offers remarkable freedom of movement, giving paramedics full access to the patient from head to toe without unfastening. Its streamlined design incorporates a patented and certified system equipped with 4-point belts, putting paramedic safety first.<\/p>

These belts allow paramedics to stand to perform CPR without having to unbuckle. Presence sensors alert the driver if a paramedic stands, allowing them to adapt their driving. Seatbelt sensors also indicate if a paramedic is not secured.<\/p>

The extra-wide electric division window improves communication between the cab and the patient care module, allowing paramedics in the rear to anticipate sharp turns. It also provides complete sealing between the front cab and the patient compartment. Combined with separate HVAC systems, it helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination between the two areas.<\/p>

The window can be operated from either the cab or the care module. A safety function allows paramedics to exit the care module in the event of an aggressive patient. If the driver locks the window from the cab, the control button in the care module is automatically deactivated until it is unlocked.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Linear lighting in the patient compartment provides uniform, shadow-free illumination, improving visibility during precise procedures. Three distinct zones with adjustable brightness allow lighting to be adapted as needed. Decentralized and easy to maintain, the system also benefits fleet managers by simplifying upkeep. Connected and compatible, the MMC delivers valuable operational data and is ready for integration with third-party systems to optimize EMS operations.
