The vertical main cylinder holder in your ambulances includes retention straps that are wear items. These straps should be checked on a regular basis for wear or damage, and they should be replaced as needed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

It is important to note that per the original equipment manufacturer, all straps must be replaced no more than three (3) years from the cylinder holder\u2019s original assembly by the manufacturer, or three (3) years from the date each retention strap was last replaced, to ensure adequate retention. At time of new ambulance delivery, the month\/year by which all straps should be changed for the first time are indicated by the manufacturer on a placard installed on the holder itself. If the replace-by date is past, please contact our Customer Care to acquire replacement straps.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Just like for any other vehicle, equipment or machinery, we recommend that ambulance owners keep a preventive maintenance schedule. This schedule should include maintenance tasks to be carried out, as well as a log of the date it was last done, the date it should be done next, information about parts replaced and the date of this replacement, etc. Demers Ambulances and Crestline Coach supplies a recommended ambulance maintenance schedule in the maintenance manual provided with your new ambulances as a starting point. The maintenance manual is made available on the DCloud.<\/p>

During any regular maintenance, it is recommended that a visual inspection of all components be performed to identify and prevent any potential problems. It is the responsibility of the ambulance owner to fix and repair these issues as soon as they appear to prevent further damaging of the ambulance components. For example, during a visual inspection, any water infiltration, loose screws or damaged parts should be noted and repaired to prevent additional cost and damage to other related parts. If appropriate, a warranty sheet\/claim should be filled out and submitted to Customer Care department for review and processing.<\/p>

For components assembled by manufacturers other than Demers Ambulances, we recommend consulting the corresponding manufacturer documentation for appropriate maintenance information. This documentation is usually available, and most up-to-date on each manufacturer\u2019s website.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
