Beloeil, Quebec-February 21st, 2017– Demers Ambulance, a leader in ambulance manufacturing, recently delivered a Demers MXP 150 ambulance to West Park Hospital in Cody, Wyoming. The new vehicle is West Park Hospital’s fourth Demers ambulance.

Configured for a 4×4 or 4×2 truck chassis, Demers MXP 150 combines a rugged exterior with top-of-the-line design details, like greater insulation and isolation from extreme conditions.

“We are very pleased with our Demers ambulances, they offer great value to our fleet,” said Jonathan Jacobs, EMS training officer at West Park Hospital. “The craftsmanship of Demers ambulances is focused on efficiency, safety, performance and state-of-the-art looks.” West Park Hospital’s ambulance personnel respond to requests for emergency medical services (EMS) to cover approximately 5,000 square miles, running approximately 2,400 calls per year.

West Park Hospital’s new MXP 150 features Demers new 2017 “Aerocap” design featuring a lighter and sleeker look offering more lights and increased aerodynamic performance. Other key features include:

·        Mobility seating for attendant safety

·        Action area controls on both street side and curbside of the patient compartment

·        Aluminum cabinet structure with restocking feature

·        Buell Air Horns with snow covers

·        Front grill with integrated siren speakers

·        Sleek automotive flush mounted windows

·        Separate heat and AC systems with independent ducting

“Our base model Type 1 MXP line comes with more standard features than other comparable Type 1’s on the market,” said Benoit Lafortune, Demers executive vice president. “Yet, we customize each vehicle to meet our customer’s needs. For West Park Hospital this meant details such as the duel action area controls, mobility track seating and our aerocap design.”
