You’ve been asking for stronger local support in Ontario, and we’ve been listening. We have been working behind the scenes to set this centre up for success with a well-planned, structured approach. The first step was to get the right people and expertise needed so our customers are well taken care of, right from the get-go.
After careful evaluation, Bolton, Ontario was chosen for its ability to efficiently serve a wide perimeter of Ontario customers and improve access to service, maintenance support and after-market service. The JBPCO acquisition allowed us to leverage additional infrastructure and staff, expanding our footprint and service capabilities.
This local facility has an optimized workflow process, and a continued partnership with customers that prioritizes getting vehicles back on the road faster. Recurring discussions with customers last Fall highlighted the need to reduce ambulance downtime and improve access to service in Ontario, reinforcing work that was already underway to address these challenges.
“This project is about being closer to our customers in Ontario, supporting them where they operate, and helping them keep their vehicles in service for the communities they serve.”
Brice Ravussin, Customer Care Vice President
OEM training you can trust at our ambulance service centre in Ontario
Following the JBPCO strategic acquisition, experienced service teams were brought together to build a strong foundation for the new ambulance service centre in Ontario. Training is at the core of this preparation, because as your ambulance manufacturer, it matters to us who is servicing your vehicle.
Service specialists supporting the centre have completed extensive OEM training delivered directly at the plant. This training provides in depth knowledge of both Demers and Crestline ambulances and prepares the team to support every stage of the ambulance life cycle, from production and commissioning to remounts and post delivery maintenance.
The team is made up of highly experienced Morgan heavy-duty technicians with a strong background in commercial vehicles. By combining OEM training with proven expertise, the Bolton service centre is designed to support ambulances with consistency, confidence, and care throughout their entire service life.
Building the service offering
The initial service offering will include commissioning, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. These services are supported by specialized training in ambulance electrical systems and body components to ensure work is completed to OEM standards. As the centre continues to develop, remount services are also planned to launch in the first half of 2026.
Right now, operations are already underway with vehicles coming in for routine maintenance and repair work. Every decision we do is laser-focused on getting ambulances back on the road quickly and safely. The strategic location and the right team in place will strengthen service support across the GTA.
We understand the current struggles of the region and the necessity of heavily relying on municipal services to maintain your vehicle. Going forward, you now have the option to go to your OEM for any service or maintenance work. Factory-trained professionals will support EMS vehicles across the GTA. This way, vehicles can return to mission ready status quickly to serve your communities.
It’s time to start leveraging the increased capacity offered in Ontario with this additional service centre.
