Demers Ambulances is recognizing paramedics across Canada during paramedic service week, held from May 19 to 25, 2024. The week provides an opportunity to highlight the work paramedics carry out every day and the essential role they play in supporting patient care in communities across the country.
To celebrate, Demers organizes an annual photo contest to encourage Canadian paramedics to share their day to day, their vehicles and their teams.

The national theme for 2024 is “Help Us, Help You.”
Throughout the week, daily themes highlight different aspects of paramedic practice, focusing on education, leadership, safety, and community awareness. The initiative is led by the Paramedic Chiefs of Canada, of which Demers Ambulances is a proud Gold Sponsor.
