May 16, 2023 – Beloeil, Québec. From May 21 to 27, Demers will highlight the profession through daily content, an online contest, and messages of appreciation shared on Facebook. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to the people who rely on Demers ambulances each day to support patient care.
Honouring the profession that shapes Canadian emergency care
Each year, Paramedic Service Week offers a moment to recognize the expertise, compassion, and professionalism paramedics bring to their work. For Demers, it is also an opportunity to acknowledge the strong connection between paramedics and the vehicles designed to support them.
As Scott Sawatsky, Vice President of Sales & Marketing Canada, explains: “We’re pleased to celebrate Paramedic Service Week again this year. Across Canada, the importance of the paramedic profession is clear. Certifications may vary between regions, but the people who choose this work share the same dedication. They are caring, selfless professionals who support their communities when it matters most. They deserve to be recognized, and we are proud to take this moment to do so.”
Throughout the week, Canadian EMS professionals are invited to take part in Demers’ online contest for a chance to win a team lunch. Details are shared on Facebook at Facebook.com/DemersAmbulances.
