May 14, 2025 – Beloeil, Québec — Demers Ambulances is proud to join Paramedic Services Week, taking place from May 18 to 24, 2025. This year’s theme, “We Care for Everyone,” highlights the essential and evolving role of emergency medical services (EMS) professionals, from frontline response to community and preventive care.
Recognizing those who care for everyone
Scott Sawatsky, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Demers Ambulances, emphasized the importance of this annual recognition: “As a proud Canadian manufacturer, we salute the remarkable work of paramedics and fleet managers across the country, in large urban centres and rural communities alike. Our participation reflects our deep commitment to supporting and celebrating those who provide essential prehospital care every day.”
A noational photo contest to celebrate the profession
In collaboration with Crestline, Demers is launching a Canada-wide photo contest to spotlight the dedication, teamwork, and community spirit of EMS professionals. Paramedic services from coast to coast can submit entries in four categories:
- Vehicle
- Team
- Response scene
- Historic photo
Each winning service will receive a $350 gift card, perfect for hosting a team meal or supporting a local community initiative.
Entries are open until midnight on May 25, 2025 via the online submission form.
Celebrating last year’s winners
The 2024 Team category winners marked their achievement with a summer crew dinner — bringing together 25 paramedics for games and local food, in a lighthearted celebration of teamwork.
Meanwhile, the winners of the special Northern Lights category used their prize to organize their first-ever children’s holiday party in Edmonton, Alberta, welcoming 29 children and 24 paramedic families for a festive and heartwarming event.
Supporting those who serve
As Paramedic Services Week unfolds, Demers reaffirms its commitment to designing ambulances that reflect the real-world needs of EMS professionals. Every Demers ambulance is thoughtfully engineered for safety, comfort, and performance, helping paramedics focus on what matters most, caring for others.
